A few weeks ago the local paper did an article on the upcoming Highlands Ranch Run Series. I have my picture in the article and was quoted a few times. The first race in this year's series is next week on St. Patrick's Day

Last Thursday, Kyle & I closed on a 1-bedroom, 2-bath condo in the mountains (its in the Wildernest area just northwest of Silverthorne). We can thank the ever increasing traffic on I-70 in helping us to make this decision. We moved in last Thursday and spent all of Friday painting the kitchen (yes, another kitchen project). After a long day of work on Friday, and the snow that we got on Friday night, Kyle & I planned on going snowboarding on Saturday. Before we left, Kyle took the dogs out to whiz and that's when it happened. It's a little hard to explain, but Izzy got her paw stuck in the stairs (the stairs are metal and have gaps to let snow, rain, etc. through) and when Kyle was helping her get unstuck, one of the stair supports cut her pretty badly between two of her toes.
